San Antonio Lands New Nonstop Flights to Frankfurt with Condor

San Antonio gets its first regularly scheduled nonstop service to Europe with new Condor flights to Frankfurt launching in 2024.

The seasonal service will operate 3 times weekly on Airbus A330-900neo jets with business class, extra legroom seats, and economy.

Securing transatlantic flights had been a top priority for San Antonio, with Austin having previously attracted BA, KLM, Lufthansa and Virgin Atlantic.

Local business leaders committed over $2 million to help attract an international carrier, with some funds used for Condor incentives.

Officials hope the new Frankfurt route will open pathways in industries like manufacturing and cybersecurity that are strong in both regions.
