Sanders Condemns Israel's Gaza Blockade, Says It Violates Law and Harms Civilians

Sen. Bernie Sanders condemned Israel's blockade of Gaza as a "violation of international law" that will harm civilians.

Sanders said targeting civilians is a war crime no matter who does it.

He said the U.S. has rightly supported Israel but must insist on restraint in Gaza.

Sanders noted half of Gaza's 2 million people are children who don't deserve punishment.

He said the blockade will do nothing but harm innocent civilians.
