Sanders Faces Scrutiny Over $19,000 Lectern Purchased by Her Office

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is facing questions over a $19,000 custom lectern purchased by her office.

The lectern was paid for with a government credit card but later reimbursed by the state Republican Party.

A lawyer who requested records says an invoice was altered to add "to be reimbursed" after his request.

Emails show Sanders' assistant added the note after being told to do so.

Sanders asked lawmakers to change public records laws after the lectern purchase, saying it endangered her family.
