Telangana CM Sacks 6 High-Profile Advisors Appointed by Predecessor

Six advisors to the Telangana government have been sacked, including 3 chief advisors and 3 regular advisors.

Those sacked were appointed by the previous BRS government led by K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Among those removed are former top officials like chief secretaries Rajiv Sharma and Somesh Kumar and former DGP Anurag Sharma.

The advisors had been appointed to key posts like chief advisor to the CM, advisor for police and law & order, advisor for minority welfare, etc.

The decision to remove them was taken within 3 days of new CM A. Revanth Reddy taking office.
