Luminar Neo to Add AI Photo Editing Tools Including Object Removal, Frame Expansion, and Object Swapping

Skylum announced generative AI technologies coming to Luminar Neo photo editor, starting with GenErase using Stable Diffusion next week.

GenErase removes unwanted objects and replaces them using AI to match the surrounding area.

GenExpand, coming next month, uses AI to change photo aspect ratio and expand the frame.

GenSwap, coming in December, allows swapping or replacing objects in photos.

New AI tools will be available to paid Luminar Neo subscribers; existing users can access for $69/year.
