Softbank CEO Urges Japanese Companies to Adopt AI Before It Surpasses Humans

Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son believes AI will surpass human intelligence in a decade and is urging Japanese companies to adopt it.

Son said at a Tokyo conference that AI will be 10x more intelligent than humans in 10 years and affect every industry.

Son says companies and people working with AI will lead industries in the next 10-20 years.

Son wants Japan to wake up and not fall behind in AI like it did with the internet.

Softbank recently expanded the Nasdaq listing of its AI chip unit Arm Holdings.
