Sports Illustrated-Themed Resort Coming to Tuscaloosa in 2025

A Sports Illustrated-themed resort opening in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in late 2025. It will be the first Sports Illustrated college town resort.

The resort is a joint project between Travel + Leisure Co. and Sports Hospitality Ventures, which licenses the Sports Illustrated brand.

The resort will be across the river from University of Alabama and target college sports fans.

It will feature a hotel, vacation club, condos, dining, entertainment, wellness amenities. First opened in Dominican Republic last year.

Tuscaloosa was named a top college town by Travel + Leisure this year. The university has been on more SI covers than any other.
