Spotify is developing a new $19.99/month "Superpremium" tier with lossless audio and AI playlists.

Features will include advanced mixing tools, extra audiobook listening hours, and a "Your Sound Capsule" personalized offering.

Spotify CEO hinted HiFi could help raise prices in the future to add more value.

The tier will have options to filter music by mood, activity, genre, vibe, and BPM.

It will include 20-30 hours of free audiobook listening, higher than the 15 hours in Premium.
