Stardew Valley Creator Shares New Images of Upcoming Game Haunted Chocolatier

Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone has shared new images of his next game, Haunted Chocolatier. The images provide more glimpses of the upcoming game.

After finishing Stardew Valley's 1.6 update, Barone will return focus to developing Haunted Chocolatier. He previously announced taking a break from it to work on Stardew's update.

Haunted Chocolatier will have greater focus on combat compared to Stardew Valley. It's also more of an action-RPG rather than a farming sim.

The core gameplay loop involves gathering ingredients, making chocolate, and running a chocolate shop. But there will be much more beyond just that.

Barone confirmed Haunted Chocolatier isn't a sequel to Stardew Valley, saying "it's not a 'Stardew 2'" even though it's another "town game."
