California Mom Allegedly Ran $8 Million Makeup Theft Ring

Michelle Mack, a 53-year-old California mom, allegedly ran a large-scale retail theft ring that stole nearly $8 million in makeup products.

Mack allegedly paid a crew of at least 12 women to steal makeup and other goods from major retailers across the U.S.

The stolen items were stockpiled at Mack's $2.75 million home before being resold online through her Amazon store at discounted prices.

Mack, her husband, and 7 other alleged crew members were arrested in December and face over 140 felony charges.

Police recovered nearly 10,000 stolen items worth over $387,000 when they raided Mack's home, along with evidence of the fencing operation.
