Marvel's Avengers Offers Fun Combat But Lacks Depth Across Campaign, Environments, and Endgame
-
Combat is very fun and engaging, combining flight, grenades, melee and gunplay well, but class diversity is lacking.
-
Campaign story is not good, with no real character development and an insulting, contrived ending.
-
Environments are shockingly repetitive with almost all content being small arena battles on rooftops.
-
Endgame has some good loot and progression systems but activities are just reskinned campaign content.
-
As a DC fan the characters and some moments are enjoyable, but as a looter shooter fan, the game does not justify itself conceptually.
