- Consumer group Which? says supermarkets and manufacturers must be more transparent about "shrinkflation" and "skimpflation" tactics
- Which? provided several examples of products getting smaller or having fewer key ingredients while costing the same or more
- Examples include smaller boxes of tea bags, sausages with less meat, smaller containers of butter and spreadable butter
- Recipes were also altered to contain less expensive ingredients, like replacing clotted cream with whipping cream
- Which? says changes often happen during times of high food inflation, but shoppers end up paying more for less
