Tapper Shuts Down Haley's Attempt to Blame Biden for Speaker Chaos

CNN's Jake Tapper shut down GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley for blaming President Biden for the House being unable to elect a new Republican Speaker.

Tapper said Haley cannot blame Biden for the Republican chaos and infighting over electing a new Speaker.

The House voted to oust Kevin McCarthy from the Speaker role nearly two weeks ago and has been in disarray since.

After Steve Scalise withdrew, Jim Jordan was nominated but it's unclear if he has enough floor support to be elected Speaker.

Tapper said Republicans need to unify and figure out who their leader will be, calling the situation "not a good look" for the party.
