Telltale Confirms Small Layoffs Due to Market Conditions, But All Projects Still in Development

Telltale Games confirmed recent layoffs at the studio and newly acquired Flavourworks due to "market conditions", but said all projects are still in development.

The layoffs affected less than 10 people across Telltale, including most of the 12-person Flavourworks team acquired in August.

Flavourworks was reportedly siloed off from Telltale and sources said the speed of the layoffs left workers confused.

Telltale's first release since its 2018 implosion is The Expanse A Telltale Series, developed with Deck Nine.

Upcoming projects include The Wolf Among Us 2, delayed to 2023, which is still in development along with all other Telltale projects.
