Blanton's is the first single-barrel bourbon sold commercially starting in 1984. It has notes of spice, vanilla, caramel, honey and corn.

Blanton's ages 3-4 times longer than other bourbons, for 6-8 years, contributing to its scarcity along with high demand.

Buffalo Trace Distillery, which makes Blanton's, limits purchases to one bottle every 3 months, also making it hard to find.
