Stocks Reach Near Record Highs Once Inflation Is Factored In
- When adjusted for inflation, the stock market recently reached close to record highs based on the S&P 500 index
- This means stock returns are starting to outpace the effects of high inflation over the last few years

- We may have already surpassed that peak or are very close to it
- If so, it would be the first time the stock market has hit a new real record high in terms of inflation-adjusted valuations
