The Pixel Watch 2 ditches wireless charging for a pin-based connector like recent Fitbit devices.

There is a 3x3 grid of pins on the back with the corners being for power and inner cross for health sensors.

The included charging cable has 4 pins that connect and magnets help align it.

Pin charging is faster than wireless - 0-80% in 43 mins vs nearly an hour on original.

The Pixel Watch 2 battery lasts 24 hours with AOD on thanks to the more efficient Snapdragon W5 chip.
