• TSA is testing a new self-service security screening system at the Las Vegas airport starting in mid-March • The system provides step-by-step video instructions for passengers to screen themselves at their own pace • TSOs will still assist as needed and scan bags/items, but the goal is not to replace them • This comes as TSA screens record numbers of travelers - 143 million so far this year • Las Vegas airport set all-time highs for TSA screenings on two dates in late 2022
