Over a Dozen Lawmakers Return Donations from Indicted Sen. Menendez's PAC

About a dozen lawmakers who received donations from Sen. Menendez's PAC are returning or donating the money after his indictment.

Recipients include Sens. Fetterman, Heinrich, Casey, Tester, Rosen, and Blumenthal, and Reps. Blunt Rochester, Watson Coleman, Sherrill, and Gottheimer.

Menendez was indicted last month on bribery charges, which he denies. Many Democrats have called for his resignation.

Some lawmakers like Manchin argue Menendez should get due process before judgment. Others did not respond to inquiries.

Compared to calls for resignation, fewer lawmakers have promptly committed to returning PAC donations so far.
