Smaller US towns offer thousands in cash, perks to attract remote workers

Some smaller US cities/towns offer relocation packages (e.g. cash, free gym memberships) to attract remote workers and new residents. Packages can be worth up to $15,000.

Tulsa Remote offers $10,000 for remote workers/entrepreneurs to move to Tulsa, Oklahoma for one year. Over 2,900 people have participated so far.

Ascend West Virginia provides $12,000 in cash + outdoor activity perks to people who move to certain West Virginia communities. Retention rate is 96.5% so far.

Multiple Indiana cities offer relocation grants worth thousands, including $15,000 in Noblesville and $7,200 in Evansville.

Rochester, New York's Greater ROC Remote program offers $10,000 in grants/incentives plus $9,000 in home-buying grants to attract remote workers.
