Insignia Air Fryers Sold at Best Buy Recalled Over Fire and Burn Risks; Nearly 300,000 Affected
- Thousands of Insignia brand air fryers and air fryer ovens sold at Best Buy recalled due to fire, burn and laceration hazards
- Over 187,400 affected units were sold in the U.S. and nearly 100,000 more sold in Canada
- Devices can overheat causing handles or glass doors to break or melt; there have been 24 reports of overheating/melting issues including 6 reports of fires
- Check underside of units for model numbers NS-AF34D2, NS-AF5DSS2, NS-AF5MSS2, NS-AF8DBD2, NS-AF10DBK2, and NS-AF10DSS2
- Customers should immediately stop using recalled air fryers, contact Best Buy for a refund or credit
