Binance Shutting Down Visa Debit Card in Europe, Urging Customers to Switch to Crypto Payment System

Binance is shutting down its Visa debit card in Europe in December, but customer accounts won't be impacted.

The card was launched in Europe in September 2020, allowing users to spend crypto assets.

Binance cited no specific reason, but has faced regulatory issues in Canada, the U.S., Russia, and elsewhere this year.

In August, Mastercard ended its partnership with Binance.

Binance is urging customers to transition to its crypto payment system Binance Pay instead of the Visa debit card.
