Trump Endorses Cryptocurrencies, Boasts of His Own Crypto Success

Trump spoke favorably about crypto, saying "I make money with it, I have fun with it too," and calling cryptocurrencies "crazy new currencies."

Trump boasted that his NFT trading cards and recent sneaker drop, which could supposedly be purchased with crypto, did very well.

Trump said if countries went off the U.S. dollar and used crypto instead, it would be "like losing a revolutionary war" and a "hit to our country just like losing a war."

Trump holds around $8.7 million worth of crypto from sales of his NFTs and donations.

Though once skeptical, Trump now says of crypto "it has taken on a life."
