Rare 1970s Desktop PCs, Including One of World's First, Discovered in London Home
- Two of the world's first desktop PCs from the 1970s were recently discovered in a London home during a routine house clearing
- The computers are the Q1 PC, released in 1972, which featured an integrated microprocessor and a plasma orange display
- Only 3 Q1 PCs are known to still exist worldwide, making this an incredibly rare find
- The Q1 used an Intel 8008 8-bit CPU capable of addressing 16KB of memory at 800 kHz
- The discovered computers were exhibited at a tech exhibition and will likely be auctioned off or sold to a private buyer
