Ukraine Liberates Key Village Near Bakhmut in Donetsk Counteroffensive

Ukrainian forces liberated Klishchiivka village in Donetsk Oblast from Russian occupation on September 17.
The village is located just 5 km south of Russian-occupied Bakhmut.
Its liberation by Ukrainian brigades is a significant achievement in Ukraine's counteroffensive in the area.
On September 15, Ukraine also liberated the village of Andriivka, about 3 km south of Klishchiivka.
These gains allow Ukraine to inch forward in its counteroffensive around Bakhmut against Russian forces.
