United Airlines Plagued by Multiple Incidents This Week As SFO-Mexico Flight Makes Emergency Landing in LA

A United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Mexico City made an emergency landing in Los Angeles on Friday due to a hydraulics issue.

This was the fifth incident this week involving a United Airlines jet.

The Airbus A320 jet with 110 people on board took off from SFO at 102 pm, turned around over Mexico at 3 pm, and landed in LAX at 430 pm.

There have been 4 other United jets incidents this week - a plane rolled off a runway in Houston, a plane lost a wheel taking off from SFO, an engine caught fire in Houston, and an engine failed over the Pacific.

After landing in LA, passengers were put on a new plane to continue to Mexico City.
