House Bans Microsoft Copilot on Government Devices Over Data Leakage Worries

The US House has banned staffers from using Microsoft Copilot on government devices due to data leakage concerns.
Copilot will be removed from and blocked on all House Windows devices.
The House previously banned the free version of ChatGPT on government devices, but allows ChatGPT Plus for research.
Microsoft said it understands the government's higher security needs and plans tools for government use like an Azure OpenAI service.
A Copilot Designer developer raised concerns about the program creating offensive images, which Microsoft responded to by blocking problematic terms.
