Buterin's $15M Transfer to Gemini Just Charity Funds, Says Ethereum Foundation

Blockchain analysts flagged a $15M transfer from Vitalik Buterin's wallet to Gemini exchange.

The Ethereum Foundation clarified Buterin only signed off on a transfer from a charity multisig wallet.

The funds were for a grant and never left Buterin's wallet according to the Foundation.

Kanro is a biotech charity funded by Buterin aiming to address COVID-19 and pandemics.

Buterin's crypto transfers have been highlighted recently, totaling $3.9M in September.
