Walgreens Employees Plan Walkouts Over Workload Concerns, Challenging Conditions

Pharmacy employees at some Walgreens stores are planning walkouts next week over challenging working conditions.

Employees say their workload, including giving vaccines, could affect patient safety in filling prescriptions accurately.

Walkouts are expected Monday to Wednesday at over 500 stores.

This follows CVS employee walkouts last month over workload concerns.

Walgreens says it's making investments in pharmacist wages and hiring bonuses for hard to staff locations.
