Walmart to Pay $45 Million to Settle Overcharging Allegations

• Walmart reached a $45 million settlement over allegations it overcharged for weighted goods and mislabeled produce weights

• Settlement covers purchases made between October 2018 - January 2024

• Shoppers without receipts can claim up to $25, depending on number of eligible items purchased

• Shoppers with receipts showing qualifying purchases can get 2% of the total cost, up to $500

• Claims can be filed online or by mail through June 5, 2024
