Xiaomi Unveils Electric SUV With 434-Mile Range to Rival Tesla in China, Takes 50K Pre-Orders in Under 30 Minutes

Xiaomi, known for smartphones and electronics, unveiled its first EV model called the SU7 with 3 trim levels and impressive specs like 434+ mile range and fast charging.

The SU7 will be competitively priced from around $30,000, directly rivaling Tesla's Model 3 in China.

The EV features advanced tech like ADAS, mini fridge, and sound system along with an 800V architecture on higher trims.

Xiaomi took 50,000 pre-orders for the SU7 in just 27 minutes after opening order books.

Initial deliveries of the Standard and Pro SU7 models will begin in China this April, followed by the top Max trim in late April.
