We Energies Proposes Rate Hike Starting in 2024, Public Hearings Set for October

We Energies filed a proposal to increase electric and natural gas rates starting in January 2024.

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin is reviewing the proposal and will take public input on October 9.

We Energies says the increase would be less than $4 per month on average.

The PSCW will decide on final rates by the end of 2022.

The new rates would take effect in January 2024.
