Microsoft Updates Teams Desktop App with New Look and Features Inspired by Windows 11

Microsoft rolled out a redesigned Teams desktop app for Windows 11 and Mac inspired by Windows 11's Fluent Design.

The new Teams app offers improved performance, reduced memory usage, faster switching between chats/channels, and multi-account support.

It has Fluent Design visual effects, light/dark mode switching, enhanced keyboard shortcuts, and the Copilot virtual assistant.

Users can access the new Teams app by toggling a switch in the current desktop app.
