Remote Work Saves Money and Improves Work-Life Balance For Nearly Half of U.S. Employees, Studies Find

Employees working in the office 5 days a week spend $51 more per day than remote workers, including costs for commute, parking, meals, etc.

49% of employees say it's easier to maintain work-life balance remotely compared to just 20% who say it's easier in the office.

46% find it easier to build relationships with coworkers remotely versus just 23% who say it's easier in person.

Between August and September 2022, around 27% of the U.S. workforce worked remotely at least part-time.

Academic studies suggest around half of Americans worked remotely at least part-time as of June 2022.
