Wormhole Announces Upcoming W Token Airdrop for 400,000+ Users, Rewards Early Adopters and Key Multi-Chain Groups

Wormhole published a post explaining the process behind its upcoming W token airdrop, seeking to reward legitimate users and key multi-chain groups. Over 400,000 wallets are now eligible.

The airdrop heavily rewards early and active Wormhole users, as well as those who used it consistently for 3+ months. Bonuses were given to users who transacted during the recent bear market.

Token allocations vary between community groups. DeGods and y00ts NFT holders get up to 10,000 W tokens while Mad Lads holders get up to 80,000 tokens vesting over 1 year.

Backpack and Mad Lads have worked closely with Wormhole to build multi-chain products, helping drive adoption.

The W token price has dropped from $2.49 to $1.58 in the past week leading up to the still unannounced token launch.
