Facebook Rolls Out Profile Switching, Allowing Up to 5 Profiles Per Account

Facebook now allows users to create up to 4 additional profiles linked to one account. Each profile can have its own name, messages, privacy settings, etc.
With profile switching, you can easily toggle between your main profile and the additional ones without logging in/out.
Some features like Dating, Marketplace, Professional mode, and payments won't be available for extra profiles at launch.
Your main profile must use your real name, but additional profiles can use any name. This could enable misuse if not monitored.
Facebook says it will take action against accounts that repeatedly violate policies across any of their linked profiles.
