Microsoft Ends Activation of Windows 11 with Old Windows 7/8 Product Keys

Microsoft is removing the option to activate Windows 11 with old Windows 7/8 product keys.
Previously, Microsoft allowed free upgrades from Windows 7/8 to 10/11 after initial 1-year offer ended.
Activation with volume license keys using KMS no longer works - must use Microsoft Activation Scripts.
Existing activations will remain unaffected.
Upgrades from Windows 10 to 11 still possible, only old Windows 7/8 keys restricted.
