Glen Schofield, creator of Dead Space, is leaving Striking Distance Studios which he founded in 2019.

Schofield was CEO of the studio and directed The Callisto Protocol which recently released.

His departure comes after Callisto Protocol failed to meet sales expectations and recoup costs.

With Schofield leaving, Striking Distance's COO and CFO will also depart the studio.

General manager Steve Papoutsis will take over as CEO with Schofield pursuing other opportunities.
