Cities: Skylines 2 Impresses with Massive New Maps in Hands-On Demo
- I tried out Cities Skylines 2 at Gamescom and was impressed by the huge, scenic maps
- The maps are around 5x bigger than in the original game, with one fjord map looking absolutely stunning
- I focused my demo on a small 1km region, not realizing how big the full map was until later
- Zooming out fully revealed just how enormous the playable area is for city-building
- I still have a lot to learn in the full game, but found the tutorial intuitive even for a newcomer
