FTC Offers Refunds to 37 Million Fortnite Players for Unauthorized In-Game Purchases

The FTC is notifying 37 million Fortnite players they may be eligible for a refund from a $520 million settlement with Epic Games.

Eligible players can get refunds for unwanted in-game purchases made between 2017-2022.

Parents can get refunds for charges made by kids without consent from 2017-2018.

Players whose accounts were locked after disputing charges from 2017-2022 can also get refunds.

To file a claim, provide your claim number or Epic Account ID at ftc.gov/Fortnite by January 17, 2024.
