White House Relaunches Free At-Home COVID Test Program, Offers 4 Tests Per Household
-
Americans can once again order 4 free at-home COVID tests per household through a government website starting Oct. 3. The tests will be delivered by USPS.
-
The tests can detect current COVID variants and some have extended expiration dates verified on the FDA website.
-
This is the 5th round of free tests to households. Over 755 million have been distributed total.
-
The program was paused in May to preserve supply but has now been replenished.
-
The White House will invest $600 million to buy 200 million more tests from 12 U.S. manufacturers.
