Stardew Valley's First Official Update in Years Adds End-Game Content in Version 1.6

Stardew Valley's upcoming 1.6 update will add lots of new content like end-game features, events, and items.
This is the first official update to Stardew Valley in several years - since the 1.5 update in 2020.
The update comes as developer Eric Barone has been working on both this and his new game Haunted Chocolatier.
Barone took a break from Haunted Chocolatier to work on the Stardew update.
Although there haven't been official updates recently, mods have kept the Stardew community active.
