Google's 2024 Tensor Chip Will See Modest Upgrades Before Fully Custom SoC in 2025

Google's 2024 Tensor G4 chip will only offer marginal upgrades over 2023's Tensor G3, according to leaks.
The Tensor G4 will still use an Exynos base, continuing the partnership with Samsung's semiconductor division.
Google plans to eventually design more custom silicon in-house and rely less on Samsung.
A fully custom Google SoC is expected to debut in 2025 with the Pixel 10 series.
